The largest cost with any project is the build cost but very little attention seems to be paid towards this by design companies. All the focus is on the design and securing planning permission which is of course important, as without it you cannot build.  iPlans employ a town planner and had a 98% success rate last year and are aiming for 100% this year!

 There is also another factor - the build cost. Most clients are working to a tight budget and want to hit that particular number. In fact it can often be the most important factor, because if it is not affordable, it will not be built.
